Spinal Cord Injury Attorney

Cars are one of the extraordinary innovations by mankind! But since its start, number of victims increased exponential. Some by their own doings and some by the silly mistakes of others. While many get well, a few of us are left with permanent injury.

Currently I will share the story of my little sister, who was happy and glistening like a shining sunflower, before she went through a great disaster.

Bad Stuffs Just Happen

Almost a month ago, I was walking with my sister on the way to a grocery. Kids like day out, so I frequently took her out for ice cream. And on the way back home, I used to leave her to play with other children in the neighboring park.

It was a rainy day. And after the shower had stopped, I took her out for a walk on the side of the street. We took a few footsteps and then I saw some college teens riding on their motorbikes and having fun.

The three motorcyclists started a race. And just at the moment, when they were passing just by us, one of them tripped on the wet road and hit both of us before colliding his bike in the a tree. She was shocked,.. more than she was hurt! She needed a few weeks of  hospitalization for the injuries, but by miracle she survived a spinal cord damage that was looking at first irretrievable.

If you or your loved ones ever undergo such a disturbance don’t pause to call a lawyer. It helped us out a lot. And remember, “Be patient – Life is too short to worry”. We kind of took action very fast and we suggest you to do the same!

Spinal Cord Injury Attorney

As calculated, there are 12,000 new cases of backbone injuries each year. With fee of surgery stretching from $100,000 to half a million dollars in the first year. Most of these cases outcome in temporary paralysis or can at times even be permanent. Only a few of them effect in death.

Your health insurance will pay, but not considerably if you ”play” by yourself. What I discovered after this tragic event is that a skilled lawyer will help you get the compensation you want for all the medical expenditures.

He will either reach the other party and get the greatest settlement proposal or will file a lawsuit against them and win it for you. So that you could get the cash you are eligible of for your cure.

Also, in event a spinal injury victim pass away, he will get all the bills and burial expenses paid by the insurance beside a financial award for the pain and sorrow experienced by the family.

For those of you who undergo such sufferings and get upset, don’t be depressed. Such as Steve Jobs once alleged, “From time to time life hits you in the skull with a brick. But don’t drop confidence”.

You can always fire your laywer and most likely he can charge you for expenses he has incurred, which would be minor, since most likely after 1 week, no settlement has been offered. (IF), you have uninsured bodily injury on your policy, then since the other guy has no insurance, then they will pay for your injuries in a settlement. It is just like if the other guy has insurance, they pay for your injury settlement due to this accident. So if you keep the laywer and (IF) you have uninsured bodily injury, then he would be entitled to 1/3 of YOUR settlement. But,,,,,,if your policy pays, then your insurance company will go after this guy personally .since they will have a vested interest, since once they pay, they want their money back also. Now, (IF), you don’t have uninsured bodily injury, then my guess your laywer may not want to pursue this other guy, since if he has no assets, then he gets nothing and neither do you. Anyone can sue and win, but the problem is can you collect, since the courts don’t collect for you, they can only issue a judgment.

My advice is go through a lawyer , if you don’t like the one one you have get another one , but don’t try to do it yourself.
